Don'tcha just hate this kind? The completely computer-illiterate bosses just ask me to do their computer work for them. No problem. I enjoy it and i get paid for it; everyone's happy. The computer-literate bosses do the work themselves and only ask for help if they get stuck on a very low level techie issue. Once again, this is my job and i enjoy it.

But the inbetweenly types ... those who sorta think they know what their doing but don't really. AAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGG!!!! Take my boss for example. Please. dreadfully sorry. old joke. couldn't resist It's not so bad when he calls me up and asks "what's the button i click to right justify a paragraph?" and i describe the button that has three lines ragged on the left side and even on the right side. He can find that and click on it and all is joy. But ... then he calls me and says "I just installed this new software for tracking clients. How do i make it print out form letters and envelopes for all my contacts in Ohio?". Well, if he'd give me half a minute at his keyboard i'd be able to find out for him. But no ... he's gotta sit there and type and click while i tell him what to do. ARGGGGG. Of course, i have no idea how to run the software, but if i was sitting there i could figure it out in a few seconds. However, i have to tell him "tell me what menues you see across the top. ok, let's try format, click on it and tell me what options are there. try query. nope that's not it. try arrange. nope. try filter. hmmm. well, the filter button looks like a little funnel. top of the screen. just to the right of the .... no, not that one. ok, go to undo. now ... the funnel button, to the right of the button that says AZ. no, to the other right. see that button about an inch down from the top, about 2/3 of the way across the screen? ...." and so on and on and on. *SOB*

How many more years until retirement?

is that kinda like having to do all your bosses paperwork cause he's so SLOW he can't get it done in the alloted one hour time period he's given? ican get all my paperwork done in 30 minutes at the end of the night and I have more than he does at5pm. ARG! I refuse to do his paperwork anymore.
