Vent - Let out your frustration
Automated Phone Systems!
I hate ... I mean really HATE!!! ... those automated phone systems. None of the options is usually what I want, and more than once recently I spent half a day going through various menus to try to get a real human to speak to. And the ones that hang up on you instead of giving you the option to return to the menu are the WORST!!! And in the end, I had to call a retail store and get a "secret number" they use to get actual help for my problem.

It's amazing people want to work for companies that use the automated phone systems. When I worked for Rogers Cable, it became SO depressing to hear that someone had either sat on hold for 2 hours or had taken 2 hours just to get through the different selections. Then they'd proceed to take their frustration and anger out on ME. |
