The Ice Cream Truck

You always know when the icecream truck is around because of that annoying little tune it plays. But if they are trying to get you to buy icecream, then why do you have to chase it 5 blocks away from your house to buy some? I just don't get them...

and THEN when they make you run down 5 blocks you see a sign that says "Watch children" Wouldn't it be safer for the children if they just stopped when someone ran out their door with money in hand?!

Forget WHERE the truck is. You can still hear that blasted music (often out-of-tune) a mile away. God help the icecream man if I have a shotgun near me when he comes into view cause I'm gonna take the shot ... NOT at the icecream man himself, but at the darned speaker on the top of the hollowed-out-so-they-could-make-it-into-an-icecream truck, old Postal vehicle playing the blasted music!
