Vent - Let out your frustration

those who need to vent

It's a fact of Life that no one wants to hear our woes all the time. we mostly have to take it to the Lord. He will bless us with a person to talk to If He sees fit. I've observed that the deep deep hurts that come to people can change them forever and Its His will that its ultimately for Our Good and for His purposes. In the meantime we just haven't arrived and I'm as guilty as anyone. Little by Little I see God's grace working in my Life. You can't put a time limit on that nor on the healing that everyone needs in their spirit. I've tried to be a listener and I'm well aware that we can wear each other by not "moving on". but moving on takes more time than what we realize. Oh we can bury it for a while and we can put it on the shelf or we can hide behind some "belief" system that really isn't an answer at all. The answer is His Grace. grief is natural process and again we can't put a time limit on it. and the griefing process is necessary to move on. I pray when someone is hurting to remember that. Yes we should NOT stay focused on our hurts but rather on HIM. but still the Healing takes TIME..

I get the feeling what I said isn't being quite understood. LOL..but that's ok. I guess I just need to flip out in here more than that post was. That WAS a vent for me. Some vents aren't constructive but inevitable? I don't really feel Like flipping out. and when I do I always feel bad. In case someone thought it was criticism. It wasn't.

It's good to let out a little steam periodically. Otherwise it builds up and the lid blows off ... frequently flinging out the entire contents of the pot. Not good! On the flip side, if you let it simmer too long without a cover, eventually the pot will boil dry, the contents will burn, and the pot itself with be scorched and unusable. In fact, you could end up with your entire kitchen on fire!

ITs been my thing for some time that we should try to be thoughtful and understanding of one another. that doesn't mean we should sidestep others just cause they don't agree with us nor do we have to be always be confrontational, but on the other hand speaking the Truth is also Love. I'm beginning to feel there are too many instances of my feeling that my spirit of trying to be this way isn't appreciated. I've had quite a few. Maybe before we open our mouth defensely of one another we should shut them first and consider. I haven't gone away from here cause I Love the chat room and I love chien and I respect deeply what he is trying to do here.(Love them til they ask why) I will continue to be the person that God taught me to be. I will go away only if Chien invites me too.because I've always been a committed person to the things I care about. I would however move on if I felt unwelcome for being the person I am...In the meantime I am asking that you consider Momszilla's post on bad manners and also consider the individuality of people and the work that God has done in them and listen more and consider. I repeat. I love Chienchat and I say this in LOVE.

I think the venting you did was fine Placid. I guess you call my piece here kinda of a personal New Year's Resolution. I hope just because I'm trying to put something positive isn't totally taboo for this thoughtful place to Vent that Chien has provided.

Yes but it feels good after you yell and scream and gripe to someone els. and after I do that, I pray and pray and pray, I ask God to help me threw all my troubles and to help me threw the things to come. and the things that have been to get over them. So why should you even be putting this on the vent thing? It makes people feel better when they tell someone els about there problems besides God! Maybe God will use that person they vent on to help them out later!
